Revit's Project Falcon

Revit has designed a new program that allows you to model wind flow and turbulence around tall structures. Named Project Falcon, the program uses colors in the model to signify different wind speeds around a massed structure. This enables designers and engineers to have a better understanding of how their design will behave and react with the elements in real life.

  1. This looks like a great bit of software. I'm sure this would be a great tool when designing taller buildings, or to help understand how several buildings affect each other in a downtown area. It would be easy to quickly visualize and focus on key areas of improvement in the design phase.

  2. Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if it's a completely separate program, or an add-on that I could download and use with the Revit we already have at school. If it's the latter, I might give it a try!
